About Me
My name is Lana, and I am a wife, a mother to a spirited 2.5-year-old, and the heart behind Grace On Wheels.
I have been sober for over 15 years, and my recovery journey has deeply shaped who I am today — not just in my personal life, but in how I show up for others. I know firsthand how overwhelming it can feel to rebuild when life has fallen apart, and how something as simple as paperwork, appointments, or missing documents can become barriers that feel impossible to overcome.
I am currently studying Human Development and Family Sciences at OSU Cascades, with plans to continue into a Master’s program in Counseling. My academic path reflects what has long been true in my life: a deep calling to understand people, families, trauma, and the systems that shape our ability to heal and thrive.
My passion for helping disadvantaged women and families is rooted in my faith — a faith that believes grace meets people where they are, without judgment, and walks beside them toward something better. I don’t believe in quick fixes or savior narratives. I believe in presence, patience, and practical support.
Over the years, I’ve helped many women recovering from addiction take meaningful steps forward by sitting with them through the hard parts — processing paperwork, navigating housing applications, enrolling in school, preparing for jobs, and finding stability one step at a time. Again and again, I’ve seen how the right support at the right moment can change the trajectory of a life — and a child’s future.
Grace On Wheels was born from that lived experience.
It exists because I’ve seen how often people fall through the cracks not for lack of desire, but for lack of access, support, and someone willing to walk with them through the systems that feel overwhelming.
As a mother, my heart is especially drawn to women and children. I believe that when we support mothers with dignity and compassion, we are investing in entire families and future generations.
Grace On Wheels is not just a program — it’s an extension of how I live my life: grounded in faith, guided by empathy, and committed to helping people move from survival toward stability, hope, and independence.
